Criminal Defense: Civil Compromises
If you have been accused of a crime against another person or their property, you may be able to reduce your jail time, probation length, or fines by using a Civil Compromise. Only crimes which are punishable as misdemeanors are eligible for Civil Compromises. Civil Compromises are generally available if you committed a crime against a person, and that person would have a right to sue you for the damages caused by that crime.
